RELOP publishes a Regulation Benchmarking: Governance Models and Institutional Relations
As an International Association with the aim of promoting development, dialogue and exhange of experience in the economic regulation of the energy sector, RELOP develops the second edition os the Regulation Benchmarking Study. This study’s goal is to analyse the institutional architecture of its members, as well as its competences, responsibilities, governance models and operation, in order to paint the picture of energy regulation in RELOP’s countries.
The study traces the evolution of the twelve regulators that integrate the Association, since the last studies published in 2009 and 2011, including the expansion of its competences and changes in the operation of its bodies. This edition also contains new topics of analysis, namely human resources and internal management of the entities.
With the ultimate goal of facilitating the continuous mutual improvement of the regulatory mark of the RELOP entities, all members participated in the drafting of this document.
