XII RELOP General Assembly

The RELOP General Assembly gathered on 19th March 2020 and was attended by ten of the Association’s twelve members.

At the meeting, the Members approved the 2019 Annual Report, elected the theme of the first edition of the Technical Regulation Awards and also had a final balance presentation by the Presidency of ARENE (2018-2019) carried out by Dr. Paulo da Graça.

During the General Assembly, Dr. Efrain Cruz, Director of ANEEL, and President of RELOP in the 2020-2021 biennium, presented the priorities and main lines of action of the Presidency, having also taken the opportunity to thank the trust placed in ANEEL to preside RELOP.

Throughout the General Assembly, chaired by Dr. Almerindo Fonseca, from ARME, some initiatives to strengthen institutional partnerships, communication strategies and promotion of the Association were also presented and discussed.

Finally, all members were pleased that such a wide participation was possible and by the success of the virtual meeting, where the members of the Association, despite the uncertain times and constraints caused by COVID-19, showed themselves to be participative and committed.
