II Cycle of Debates RELOP: The impact of climate change in the energy sector

Climate change is generally defined as a significant change of the normal metereological conditions, which we observe with growing frequence. They are associated to the rise of global planet temperature, which brings consequences for both living beings and the environment.
One of the reasons for these change is the frequent use of non-renewable energy sources, with high Greenhouse Gases emissions. With the raise of awareness by the International Community, a goal was established in order to give a global and efficient answer to the need of reducing global warming and solve the challenges connected to climate change.
As this is a pressing and current topic, it becomes interesting to discuss it among RELOP members, with the energy sector spectrum.
Therefore, this is the debate proposed for the II RELOP Cycle of Debates 2021.
