RELOP 2026 Regulation School: Strategies for Regulatory Efficiency and Sustainability in the Electricity Sector

25 May 2026

From 25 to 29 May, the 2nd edition of the RELOP Regulation School will take place in Luanda, Angola. Dedicated to the theme ‘Strategies for Regulatory Efficiency and Sustainability in the Electricity Sector’, the event is a joint initiative by IRSEA and RELOP, organised as part of the EU-Angola Dialogues programme.

The main aim of this initiative is to help promote a regulatory environment that is more transparent and in line with international best practice.

The training session will feature contributions from RELOP members, enriching the week’s programme through the sharing of experiences and best practices amongst the various regulators.

The training will focus, in particular, on topics considered to be priorities for the balanced and sustainable development of the regulatory sector, namely:

  • Tariffs for isolated systems;
  • Market design;
  • Inspection and enforcement;
  • Consumer support.

The National Energy Sector Authority (ENSE) and the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE) are partners in promoting this initiative.
